AWS Cloud Infrastructure

Cloud that scales and costs less

AWS architecture, migration, and cost optimisation — infrastructure as code that scales with you and trims the bill.

// Overview

We design and run AWS infrastructure that fits the workload instead of over-provisioning by default. That might mean EC2 and RDS behind an auto-scaling group for a steady app, or Lambda, S3, and API Gateway for something spiky and event-driven — the point is matching the architecture to your actual traffic and cost profile, not a template.

Everything is defined as code with Terraform or the AWS CDK, so environments are reproducible, reviewable, and easy to roll back. You get CloudFront in front of your assets, sensible IAM boundaries, secrets kept out of the codebase, and CI/CD that deploys on merge — the boring fundamentals that keep a 3am page from happening.

A large share of this work is cost optimisation. We routinely cut AWS bills by 30 to 50 percent through right-sizing, reserved and spot capacity, S3 lifecycle rules, and killing idle resources — usually paying for the engagement out of the first few months of savings.

// What's included
AWS architecture designed to your traffic, defined in Terraform or CDK
CI/CD pipelines that build, test, and deploy on merge
CloudFront, auto-scaling, and load balancing for performance and resilience
IAM, security groups, and secrets management set up to least-privilege
A cost-optimisation pass: right-sizing, reserved and spot capacity, lifecycle rules
Monitoring, alerting, and backup and recovery you can rely on
// How we deliver it
01

Audit and plan

We review your current setup or requirements, map traffic and data patterns, and produce an architecture with a clear cost estimate before provisioning anything.

02

Build as code

Everything goes into Terraform or CDK with least-privilege IAM, managed secrets, and CI/CD, so environments are reproducible and every change is reviewed and reversible.

03

Migrate safely

For existing systems we cut over in stages with rollback paths at each step, so there is no big-bang migration weekend riding on hope.

04

Optimise and monitor

We right-size, apply reserved and spot capacity and lifecycle policies to cut the bill, then leave monitoring, alerting, and backups running with a documented runbook.

// Questions

Can you actually cut our AWS bill, or just move it around?

We cut it. Right-sizing over-provisioned instances, moving suitable workloads to spot or reserved capacity, applying S3 lifecycle rules, and shutting down idle resources typically brings bills down 30 to 50 percent — and we show you the projected savings before touching anything.

Will migrating to AWS cause downtime?

We plan migrations in stages with a rollback path at every step and, where possible, run old and new side by side before cutting over. For most workloads the switch is seamless; where a maintenance window is unavoidable, we schedule it and keep it short.

Do we need our own DevOps team to keep this running?

No. Because everything is infrastructure as code with CI/CD, monitoring, and a documented runbook, your existing engineers can operate it. We can also stay on for ongoing management if you would rather not build that capability in-house.
